I replaced my old 2009 tdi sedan for 2013 my13.5 Passat tdi wagon (bluemotion).
So far, very happy...huge difference in handling, fuel consumption and generally interior.
Still learning how to drive (start stop disabling every time). Auto hold on - like this feature.
I have only one concern, and hoping you can help me with it..
Brakes are very, veryyyyy soft....i wonder if this normal?
I got car from vw dealership, service done...all ok. Car has only 45.000 km on odo.
On my old passat brakea were more responsive...harder.
Another thing, if you remove foot from accelerometer mfd shows speed D and car rolling for long time keeping speed. Before, i used to stop using engine...but now, car goes on and on...
Maybe all normal, just i am not used to drive new model ....

Brakes are probably just not what you're used too, or maybe they need a flush?

With the D issue, maybe you're talking about the coasting function? It's in your MFD you can access it through steering wheel controls and toggle it on or off, play with it till you get the desired feature you want, don't think 09 passats had this feature.
