    Help With VCDS output - Pre Purchase B7 Passat

    Hi Everyone,

    If anyone can help me by looking over this autoscan result of a B7 Passat that I had a look at today.

    There are a few fault codes I am a little concerned about, not being up to date with the newer generations of VWs.

    I have removed the non faulty modules output.

    Hi Mate,
    How many KM the car has done?

    The engine faults: if the car drives normal, then clear them, drive for a while and check vag com again to see if the faults come up. May be they are due to the immobilizer that stopped the engine from running at some stage which in turn caused the other 4 faults to come up. If the engine is loosing power, hesitating, or not smooth then I will be worried.

    The navigation grounding fault, I get that all the time too. It happens every time I connect MP3 Aux input in the center console. So don't worry about it.

    The Turn signal in exterior Mirror, did you change the turn signal LEDs recently? or may be someone changed it already before you bought the car. The fault frequency is 1 anyway, so if it works then don't worry about it until it completely dies and replace it.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the reply, the car has done 33,000km and is a few months out of warranty.

      Engine runs fine, but had oil residue on the intake manifold near the dipstick hole.

      No idea about the light, the owner said the mirror lift was fixed at some point.
