    2014 Passat Dash Symbols

    Apologies if this has been asked before. I looked through the manual but couldn't find anything.

    On the dash display, in the top-left corner (opposite the gear indicator - D1, S2, etc) are some other symbols, alternating between E, S or SE. When stationary SE will display. When moving S or E will display. Any ideas what they mean?

      You haven't driven north or west, so you should be near Melbourne by now...

        On page 22 of my Passat manual it says its a compass and on page 24 it has a map of the world with instructions on how to calibrate it if the stealer didnt do it..

        A read of the index will show where it is if yours is different
