Glad I found this thread. I'm going to contact Jonathan also. Fit seems perfect and makes sense to protect the boot when there are prams involved.

Alright, I am now very serious about buying one of these due to the pram issue and I was very keen on this travall one but I am put off by the postage costs. You guys were talking about 53 odd dollars for postage from the UK whereas the Australian site is saying $60 from within Australia!! The product is $69 and I haven't got a problem with that, just the postage. At $139 in total I am wondering whether some of the ones on ebay might be worth a look considering the price. Anyone dabbled into any other boot liners yet or have any advice?

Read through the thread and look at the one I linked to on Ebay on page 1 Looks better than that one but is still a hard foam and not solid rubber. I use a Supercrap rubber one cut to fit on top of it I didnt pay for it the Salesman gave it to me but it is identical to that Ebay one but probably didnt come from USA with that postage

This from Ebay again but I think its the hard foam like mine Volkswagen Original Luggage Compartment Boot Floor MAT VW Passat Variant | eBay

The Travall one is worth it IMO. Understandably the postage is high considering the total item price. But, it's really saved my boot when chucking in the double stroller. Prior to it, I could see the pram leaving indentations on the carpet. Can't speak highly enough of the Travall liner. Really sturdy and takes a beating from the stroller on a daily basis. Plus it has a slight lip to it that can stop minimal liquid run off. Perfect fit too.

Just be careful on the raised edge, if it's too high, it will block the hook points for the luggage net.
Travall has no issue on this, you can see clearly in my photos. IMO, it's a great buy!

Damo_t, is there any smell with the travall one? Out of all of the ones posted just above, it does seem like the nicest although it is a little hard to properly see the original version. Thanks.

It actually came vanilla scented when it arrived. Pleasantly surprised. Over time that of course fades. No smell to speak of.

Mine came with the OEM one. The edges as seen in some earlier photos are pretty flimsy and bendy, so it doesn't really sit tight around the edges, but the base is the right size and very solid and light, so big tick there. I'm a sucker for OEM/branded parts and I like that it says Passat, plus it was free, but if you don't care about that, I would definitely get the Travall one. From the pictures it is better quality.

Ended up putting in the OEM liner today as a replacement for the existing one. It is really light and will probably handle the odd shopping run. Have yet to see if it will withstand the pram but I think it should be ok considering I don't make a habit of throwing the pram in. Note the line does not have passat or VW on it but definitely a tight fit.

Well, I ended purchasing a Travall one. Not sure where it's coming from because I was on the Australian site however it seems like it is coming from overseas so only time will tell. Look forward to seeing what it looks like in the flesh.
