4motion rear wheel bearing

Hi, I have to do a rear wheel bearing and I’m wondering if anyone has the torque specs for the rear bearing to carrier, drive shaft bolt and caliper.
the bearing came with new bolts but it seems difficult to find the torque specs.

I have a Haynes manual written for a B6 Passat FWD diesel. So the torque settings can be used for a guide only since the manual does not cover AWD. Some torques are pretty huge and these bolts all seem to be stretch to yield bolts.

For the rear hub to wheel bearing housing, 200 Nm then angle tighten a further 180 degrees.
As a guide the front drive shaft bolt is the same 200 Nm + 180 degrees for a 6-sided bolt, however 70 Nm + 90 degrees for a 12-sided bolt.
The rear brake caliper mounting bracket bolts are listed as 90 Nm then angle tighten a further 90 degrees.

Maybe do some more research, but these settings may be a good starting point.

Thanks for that. It gets me closer. From what I can find the rear wheel bearing on the front wheel drive is completely different but the 4motion rear wheel bearing is the same as the front.
does your manual give a torque specs for the 4 bolts that hold the front wheel bearing to the steering knuckle? I found something that said 70nm + 90*?

I think you have the correct torque. The wheel bearing housing to hub is 70 Nm then 90 degrees.

I got this done in the end. I had to remove the driveshaft bolt, caliper, disc, sway bar, two lower arms and coil spring. Then I could move the driveshaft to the side to undo the bearing to hub bolts from the inside. Fitting the new bearing is the reverse except for tightening the suspension bushes when the weight of the car is on the wheels at normal ride height.
You also need a 12 and 14 spline drive socket.
