Need help in Adelaide for VCDS

Current having the TPMS error light on. The dealership quoted 4600 for full ABS replacement etc. Which I don't have the money or willing to spend anything as such


read on this forum that the TPSM can be cleared off via VCDS coding. Does anyone offer that service in Adelaide,SA?

The stock B7 only has indirect TPMS (uses the wheel speed sensors to measure the rolling tyre diameter), and yes, it can be turned off via VCDS.
Find a local independent that deals with VAG cars, or find someone on here that has a VCDS cable to scan for fault codes.

It could be as easy as a wheel speed sensor or a faulty ABS module.

If it's a faulty ABS module, the electronic side can be replaced without bleeding the system in ~ 1 hour, 2nd hand ABS modules are reasonably priced at wreakers; I paid ~$250 for an ACC-compatible one (I don't think they checked it was the more expensive one ).

Also, check your battery; your car has several electrical problems going by your posts, and a low or weak battery can cause issues.

My car currently has below issues

- non functional sunroof
- TPMS light is on

Currently at 105,000kms . Trying to tackle the issues by myself as much as possible as I don't have much cash to go around the dealership

I searched Adelaide for someone with vcds , there is one place in Panaroma but they don't do fault codes.

Checked the battery and it says 12.37

i had 12.37 in the morning, so charged the battery to 12.7

tried again but failed. almost all auto electrical people are telling me to go to the dealership
