Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Passat V6 FSi Highline - Front left steering/suspension issue

    Hi All,

    The better half has clipped a gutter or two and VW had advised around 700 bucks to supply and fit parts for the I believe lower control arm bushes. This in turn has made both front tyres wear on the inner edge very badly, so I am up for two new tyres as well.

    Any idea on a place that might be considerably cheaper than VW themself?

    Try James at Audvolks in Clayton. Helped with out with diagnosing by suspension issues recently.
