Just like Kamold's threads, an inspiring read. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing more updates!

I purchased a pair of LED remnant parker lights, purchased from Supernova Lighting in Melbourne.

The install took about 5 minutes. The passenger side is a lot harder to get out compared to the driver side. I used a pair of long nose pliers to get the existing bulb out, but was able to just use my hand on the way back in.

Don't forget to use the coupon code VWWATERCOOLED when you shop with them for 10% off.

Nice! I found Supernova a little while ago, just waiting for an excuse (ie, blown bulb!) to move to LED. I'll have to get in touch with them to see what will fit an FSI with projectors rather than the bi-xenon HLs.

          New wheels have been fitted:

They are currently wrapped in some 225/35/19 Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres, but I'm having them replaced with some Michellin Pilot Sport 4S this weekend to correct the load rating.

They look good! How wide are you going? 225 sounds way too narrow for a 9 inch rim?

The tyres have now been replaced.

              Previous:
              225/35/19 - Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3

              Now:
              235/35/19 - Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S

During a 45 minute drive yesterday, there were a few instances of rubbing in the rear, so I'll look into camber adjustment.

Mine came with factory 19’s and I also run 235’s. In the four year’s I’ve had it I never noticed any rubbing until December last year when I was doing a long run with 4 people + luggage. And then only infrequently on undulations in the road and some corners taken at speed.

not the width of tyre, it’s the wheel offset, these wheels stick out 24mm with the same size tyres
if your factory spec rubs it’s more likely the car was overloaded
the rub area is the top outer edge of the wheel arch liner, adjust the rear camber can help but will reduce the life of those precious tyres
