  • Passat B7 2011 front halogen lamp request VCDS Central Electronics vcds configuration

    Hi, after coding error I missing original VCDS parameter for my passat.
    I do not have copy of precedent configuration.
    I ask help to reconfigure the central module.
    My car have front halogen lamp, low and high beam separated, DLR and Fog lamp.

    At this moment DLR and Fog lamp do not working, auto switch lamp not working, high beam toggle swith not working.

    Let me know how you go... I borrowed a cable and took a copy of my old v6 setup.... that was six years ago on a horribly obsolete laptop ( back then) I would have to turn my garage upside down to find it ... and then hopefully boot up

        Hi Righez

        Sorry mate, I did have a look -> hate promising and not delivering

        I found the old laptop > (back in the day, my "Current" laptop would not talk to VCDS, so I had to dig out the old spare)

        It bluescreened

        Anyway got through that using safe mode , then I found that the ross tech directory was empty (I must have cleared it when used that machine as a Serial Port PLC loading/interface)

        I found one document with screenshots of some little miscelaneous codings, but my reads are gone.

        just for the comedy value, remember these days?

            Just to clarify he did not find anything.
            One of the things I am researching as well in case I get a cable and mess things up. with Ross Tech cable you have option of default.
            Also have you checked the appropriate fuse?
