this is giving me the royal s.... h...... i..........t ..........s yesterday in the dry I needed a reasonable amount of accleration ie not tramping it and still got some minor axle tramp, not happy jan, it seems the front suspension cannot cope with the torque rush of the diesel. Must have to visit the local suspension place.

Its just the price you pay for having 300Nm+ and FWD...

i have well over 300Nm in my 1190kg FWD car and get pretty much zero wheelspin in the dry.
i do admit, i struggled from excessive axle tramp and ridiculous wheelspin for ages until i got my new tread. i have really good tyres now and the grip is amazing, no spin or tramping.

i am yet to try them out in the rain but i've heard they still perform quite well.

good tread is a vital thing to have in powerful FWD cars.

It fixed the axle tramp feel and is easy to install.
Does this fit on the GT TDI though? It only seems to be for the Gti.

Have a look at the fulcram suspension site, they have super pro poly bushings, they are alot cheaper and do the same job.

It's a real shame you can't option 4motion on the TDI version.. Wet roads mean re calibrating the right foot!
