Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Easiest to post a picture of the particular symbol mate. That will make it easier to pinpoint for you.

ok finally fixed it all I did was just this test - Lateral/Longitudinal Acceleration & Yaw Rate Sensor (G200/G202/G251) Prerequisites:

      • System voltage at least 12.0 V.

      [Select]
      [03 - Brake Electronics]
      [Measuring Blocks - 08]
      Group 004
      [Go!]
      Check field 2, 3 and 4 - their value has to be between -1.5 and +1.5 m/s² or °/s.
      [Done, Go Back]
      [Security Access - 16]
Enter 40168, to enable the basic setting.
      [Do it!]
      [Basic Settings - 04]
      Group 061
      [Go!]
      Activate the Basic Setting.
      [ON/OFF/Next]
After a successful basic setting, field 2 should say "OK".
      [Done, Go Back]
To make sure the basic setting was succesful, check the sensor again.
