Aftermarket Hid

hi, is anyone have got their passat B6 fitted with the aftermarket hid?,
because i had installed the aftermarket one, and there is a blinking problem with it, can someone help me?

I got the same problem too...

the guys changed the ballast for me to philips brand from unknown brand since than no other blinking or problem.

It was happening to me . It was blinking and turn off by itself before when still on unknown brand of ballast.


Maybe it need to be set via vagcom about HID....

I bought the stuff off e-bay...

Very very cheap... I sent email to the guy.. I explained it the situation...

He told me to send it back the ballast... and he sent me back...

i also bought the chinese brand one,
and they also give another ballats but it's still the same,
yes it flickering,
i think we should use a vag-com to adjust it, and if you in melbourne i found a place called volkspower it's in burwood, the complete address can be find in the website

My headlight is flickering for the first 1 min...after that fine with a new ballast...turn our to be philips now...

I believed we need to adjust it via vag-com....but no 100% prove...
