I received a survey from AAMI to comment on my recent claim experience, should make for some entertaining reading for someone. Also requested a call back which should be interesting.

Is the agreed value higher by going with VW themselves? I shopped around and received 9 quotes and the highest agreed value I could get was $30,500 with AAMI, my previous car, 2006 Subaru Liberty 3.0RB had an agreed value of $28,000 so it's got me stuffed why insurers value the R36 so low.

Update - Rain Sensor has been shorted out and will need to be replaced at a cost of $570 installed. Windscreens Obrien are now claiming that the sensor must have been faulty prior to them replacing the windscreen (it wasn't).. Looks like the ombudsman might be receiving a phone call sooner rather than later.
