Hey guys my Passat Xenon light has gone orange.

What/where is cheapest place to get them changed in Sydney

I got mine done at VW Village cos they were the closest you could also try Mullers in Lakemba.

What part of Sydney are you in? No point trying to save a few dollars if you have to drive 60km and hang around like a shag on a rock

when Xenon bulbs are dying they can either go purple or orange

Also wondering if there is any adjustment (manual) for the Bi-Xenon Headlights?

My drivers side seems a little low...

Can an alignment only be done at VW? Or are there other places that can do an alignment of the headlights?

Mine are functioning fine, do the dance on start up and swivel etc.
But it just appears to have a low spread of light...

Yeah, you can manually adjust them mate. I've done mine. Just need an allen key. There is a white adjustment screw on top of the light housing. I just adjusted mine up until i thought it was giving me a good sight distance.

Thanks for that, I knew the adjustment screw was there; but didn't think I could use this with the Xenons.
I will give it a try!

Cant with mine as has auto levelling. Maybe you can screw them up (in more ways than one) to fool the leveller

Hi all, I have a Passat wagon b7.
i really want to change my halogen to xenons.
does anyone know where in Oz I can get some aftermarket xenons to suit that are plug and play?

All Passat's with Bi-Xenon's have auto levelling.
But the manual adjustments are there too.
My drivers side light is a bit too low, so I will look to see what can be done!
And yes they do the dance on start up!

The autolevelling is to adjust for loading the rear of the car. the manual adjustments are for adjusting the baseline level for bi xenon on a flat surface.

booba has hit it on the head. Mine were a little low so I lifted them up a little to give a better throw. Just gotta do something about the light output as my old AU XR8 had better light output. Maybe the xenons lose their light output due to use.

I have bought my D1S bulbs from PowerBulbs. I bought Osram night breaker unlimited for around $140 each delivered. Don't buy xenon bulbs from eBay, they are all fake. The first set that I bought from eBay were fake.
