Do the garage door remote mod too. That's another one for you too Jakey! I've started a thread on it so do a search. You know what, I thought that my puddle light was the bed mod, but I actually think that the garage mod is the best. Another little mod is a bin that goes in the spare wheel well. Again, have a look at a thread I started on it. Very easy mod and only costs about $5-6 from Bunning and about ten minutes of your time. Will come in handy one day for the kids wet swim wear!

I really like the garage door button mod, but I live in an apartment complex and unless I can put my hands on a MegaCode 318MHz learning remote/duplicator, I won't be pulling apart the only other remote I have to wire it into my car

Well, this guy take the award for indepth hacks of his car: Volkswagen Passat 3C
He's actually removing the EEPROM, reprogramming it and resolding it to the control board... erm, that's nuts! But I like his hacks, folding mirrors with door lock, retrofit adaptive cruise control... well, I'm not so keen on the latter but I like the folding mirrors!
Another method, seems a lot easier! You just insert the OBD dongle, which flashes the (I'm guessing) door controller, they license the dongle to a certain number of flashes and only send it to people inside of Germany. Hi
Just bought an 07/10 White R36 wagon a few weeks ago. Painted the wheels white to match, added shark fin antenna also had painted. Looks so good.
