Help! Sump Pan Req!

I've had an incident with my sump plug which now requires me to buy a new sump pan... Boring.

Anyway, VW AU quoted a crazy price and I'm not having much much with eBay etc.

Anyone know of a wrecked/wrecking R36 in NSW at all?

Or failing that, does anyone know what the part number would be?

Does it not seal at all? You could probably have it helicoiled. Or there's oil drain plug repair kit | eBay

You can also get one that cuts itself new threads and has another bolt in the middle.

Yes, we did the HeliCoil thing - failed.

The other thing sounds interesting though! Do you have any more details on that?
