Finally getting myself organised and upgrading my black 2011 B7 TDI wagon after nearly 6 months of ownership.
Have already replaced the 17" rims with some Omanyt 18" from an R36.
Fresh set of boots today - Michelin PS3s all round - gone for 245/40 R18. $252 a corner from JAX - great price!! Gives a little more sidewall for added ride comfort and protrudes just a few mil more - trying to protect those vulnerable rims. Few cans of Plastidip on their way here too - gonna go matt black.
Gave him a good wash and polish after the tyres were fitted - and did a little debadging in the process.
Ordered some H&R springs from Awesome GTI last week - should be here soon - hope 40mm isn't gonna be too much of a drop.
Going for a tint at Universal in Brookvale next week - $295! Good value hey? Anyone got any experience of these guys? Using 3M film so should be good quality I hope.
On their way from the UK - from HIDs direct - great little ebay store - 3 x xenon kits - for dipped, main, and fogs. LEDs for front indicators + sidelights + DRLs. Would also like to replace the puddle lights but haven't found the correct unit yet.
Once the suspension is fitted - will measure up for some of ECS tuning's spacers. Thinking 10mm front + 15mm rear. But need to see how it looks once settled on the H&Rs.
Finally, got an RNS 510 to fit and hopefully that is the lot.
What do you guys reckon - am I missing anything in my quest for an elegant and tastefully modded B7???
