  • Scirocco talladega 19" wheels on R36

I would like some advice on whether this is possible or not. To date i haven't seen an r36s with scirocco 19s. I think it would suit the car especially black ones. Would the car need to have its suspension replaced to avoid it looking like a SUV. If any one has done this or has photos could you please post them thanks.

I was keen to go down this path but couldn't afford the available rims at the time so stuck with some CC wheels.

Given that the r36 is lower than a std passat, I think that you'll be right. Whatever the current gap is on the arches is what it'll be like with the 19s.

My friend has a B7 Passat running on copy 19" Talladega rims with standard suspension.

I looks good imo. not 4wd like.

        ^ I like that.

The R36 is already running lower than stock so I think the look would be fine.

I believe the standard wheels are 18x8 ET44 and the Scirocco Talladegas in black are 19x8 ET41 so should be a good fitment as well.

i went with 19" Lamborghini wheels and it gave it a 4x4 look so wasnt happy.

Bought some KW springs which brought it back down to OEM height and looks much better

I been trying to source 19" Lambo wheels. Couldn't find 2 sets of front wheels so I gave up and settled for VW reps.

Where did you get your wheels from?

                  Got them from a friend.

As you can see with the KW's i rid of the wheel gap:

Can you comment on how it affects the ride quality?
I have factory 18's on my Passat V6 FSI and am also looking at 19" wheels, but am concerned it will be too harsh around town.

It's a little firmer but they don't find in uncomfortable and they went up from 17 to 19 inch.
