Hi guys,
I had an idea. The spare wheel well is a wasted storage space in our R36 wagon so I had an idea. I went to Bunnings and got one of those cheap $6 large plastic storage bins (approx. 42cm in diameter) and decided to check whether it fitted. Well, it fitted like a glove so I just trimmed the top of it off so that it would just touch the underside of my floor. Now I don't know whether this works on sedans but I can't see why it wouldn't. This space will come in handy when putting wet things in like swimmers and any other potential fluid things that might leak. Don't know what you think but I think it is a great wasted space that now is usable. I also bought a luggage net from Bunnings too as well as 4 D rings so that when I have to load a lot of luggage for family trips and it goes up past the height of the rear seats, then there is some protection from bags and so forth flying forwards should I need to hit the anchors hard. Here are some pics of my little idea that I'd like to share with you all. If this has been done before then I'm sorry to the first person who first did it and pay homage to your genius!
