R36 Digital Speedo??

Can anyone help me? Took my car for a service today. Just picked the car up and now I have a weird little digital speedo?

I have an 2009 R36 but has the Red MFD, in the little window that shows the KM's and trip I have a digial speedo, but in MPH. If I am stationary it just shows the KM's of the car, but as soon as I move off, it's shows this speedo.

Anyone else seen this or know how to get rid of it?

Thats very interesting seeing as though i thought the red MFD wasnt supposed to show the speedo at all. Would be cool to have it and be able to switch it on and off. Look forward to hearing about this.

think you press and hold the 0.0 and i believe it will flash. This is the process to turn it on....assume its the same to turn it off

Any idea how long you have to hold it for? I have been holding it but all I get is my trip reset.

All good, got rid of it.... As stated above, press and hold the 0.0 button, but for about 10 seconds though.

FYI you can get an actual digital gauge
google "kufatec eMFA"
gives digital speed as well as RPM, fuel level, oil temp, and water temp

I wonder if there is an upgrade or a code that needs to turn it on as I would love a digital speedo without having to upgrade or install something?

I always thought it wasnt possible without the above unit on a red MFD
