Just slipped these on.. Makes the car look complete, no idea why VW don't just fit them as standard on the Highline..

i have a 2013 118 tsi and guess the exhaust tips are the same as on your model?? I have shopped for chrome tips and have not yet found a supplier, can you tell me who to get them from -
I think the reason they dont put them on the diesels is something to do with diesel soot and the fact that i think it eats the chrome but i could be wrong. But if yours has the particulate filter then they can fit them. If they havent, then, probably just cost cutting mate. Bummer, but you've overcome it. Yeah but I don't see how soot would be a problem to a SS or chrome tip. The soot build up can just be cleaned when the car is washed.. Maybe its what separates the Audi's from the VW's? lolOriginally posted by v8snerlo View Post

I have searched ebay and cant come up with a supplier of chrome tips that will slip straight on to my 2013 Psassat 118tsi, and it appears that as the existing tips are oval and the available chrome tips are round they wont slip straight on, so if you have been able to find a supplier can you give the detailsComment
