Lowered B6 Passat owners?

Hi guys, Ive searched on various options when wanting to lower a B6 Passat. Ive come across various coil over options. Spring and Shock combinations (eibach / koni) and HR cup kits as the main few.

I was wondering if there are any owners out there that can give me some input into ride quality etc in an Australian context, we do have rougher roads here…

I was also interested in input of various drop heights from the above options in terms of day to day use and comfort.

Im aiming for an aesthetic drop which still stays within the bounds of OEM looking (think a sport model) maybe 1.2 inches or so. I remember on b5's and b5.5's the oil pan was quite low already even at stock heights.

For the B6, the 3.2l V6 models were 15mm lower than standard, and the R36 was 25mm lower, so that's only about half a centimetre higher than you want to go.

I have an R36 wagon, and although the ride is probably a little firmer than I'd like it on less than ideal roads, I don't have any problems with speed bumps (so long as I take them at a sensible speed), but I do have to be a little careful entering and leaving driveways, and similar angled bits of road.

Your 2.0T is likely to have a less agressive front skirt stock as well, so you'll probably have a bit more ground clearance up front than I do.
