    TIZZIE?

VIC has another 2009 MY10 Blue wagon at 89k kms for sale, that one has been listed a few months already. It still has warranty till Nov 2015.

Too many km and also looking for a wagon.
Yes 'Passat36' the plates are 'TIZZIE'.
Had a look at the rs6 audi today, and apart from a few paint blemishes and a broken ashtray lid on the back door trim it was very impressive. The handling and the responsive accelerator pedal was outstanding. A lot of km's but at $37000 asking, you are getting a lot of car. Very tempting

Keep looking, picked mine up in Jan last year. 31,000kms, all upgrades except DynAudio, immaculate except for a slightly collapsed drivers right bolster (common problem) and a few scratches on the top of the rear bar from shopping bags I assume.. $35k

Did you drive it in D or S? In D the pedal feel is very slow, almost feels like turbo lag the way the computer brings on the power. In S, it'll drop gears in milliseconds and sprint off!

              Bought one

              Finally got one
              ended up buying 'tizzie'
really rapt with the purchase, body is mint now, interior just need a good detail
unfortunately it has the rcd510. There is a phone button on the left side of the unit but pressing it does nothing
i can't seem to find any Bluetooth settings. In the service books I did find a receipt for a Bluetooth iPod module at a cost of around $600. I noticed it was at predelivery
i have searched everywhere in the car and cannot seem to find any existence of such an item.
Also no reverse camera or sat nav
what are my options. I definitely need Bluetooth as I am always on my phone and sat nav would be great as well.
              let the mods begin

                Congrats!

Mine has the RCD-510 and the Kufatec Fiscon BT works fine. Do you have a microphone on the steering wheel column? Also when I press the MENU button on the steering wheel, I can scroll to the Kufatec Fiscon menu. I have to use my phone to search the BT and type in the default pairing code.

Thanks. Managed to pair my phone to the deck. Can use the steering wheel controls to answer or end the call. Is it normal that my contacts ect don't come up on the display. Also when I select ''Media' on the deck the only option highlighted is aux in. Bt audio is there but not accessible even thought the blutooth audio option is highlight and works when I make a call.
is the' aux in' socket always in the centre console. I have yet to find an iPod lead anywhere in the car even though it appears that the previous owner had paid for it.

This is an old post, but this is relevant anyway - in the last year or two, VW changed the servicing schedule so that the haldex service and DSG service are no longer both done at the 60k service interval. This was apparently done to reduce the financial burden on owners. Instead, the haldex service is now done at the 45k service.

Your car might be fitted with the 'basic' bluetooth, or an aftermarket one. The expensive VW one should show the contacts and phone functions on the MFD.

The 3.5mm aux in socket is in the centre storage bin. You should also find that there is an SD card slot below the screen on the RCD510 for media.

The iPod 'socket' is in a hidden compartment above the glovebox. If you open the glovebox you should see an orange strap hanging down. If you pull the strap, the hidden MDI compartment should drop down. You'll find the connector for the MDI inside. You'll also need the appropriate adaptor cable, since the MDI uses a proprietary cable. The car comes standard with a USB-A adaptor cable, so you can connect a USB flash drive, but the dealer may have included the iPod adaptor cable as well. If you can't find it, you should be able to buy a replacement cheaply from eBay.
