I've read a lot of conflicting information on wheel fitment on B6 wagons. Lots of people are saying that anything more than a 8.5 is a huge wheel on these.
"Frenchie" ran 19x8.5 +32 Front with a 235/35, 19x9.5 +37 Rear with a 255/30.

One of the guys from the states runs 19x9.5 +40's all round with 225/35's.

Problem is, I don't know how much (if any) these cars rub, and how much work was involved to get there. I'd also like to know how much drop was required. Frenchie's looks low, but the one from the states doesn't look super low (not sure if that is just the R36 kit though).
I'm eyeing off some wheels that are 19x9 +30 all round, do you think these would work if they were run with a 225/35? I'm happy to go a little lower, run a bit more camber and fold the guard lips, but I don't want to do major guard work and run aggressive camber/height.
