    Found solution
I went to Vw burwin service centre to ask question about it...
    Solution was really simple...
On B6 models and if you have park assist and front sensors you just need to press button next to knob for more then 3 sec and front sensors gonna activate. Now, if i driving less then 15 km front sensors activate (something i have just sound something screen comes out)
If you hold button for less then one second park assist hit...

OK, I read the manual again & it does mention about having this in auto mode. It says switch on then select reverse & then select forward gear & drive off at more than 15 kph. Tried on mine & this turned it off but the light in the switch also turned off. I would love to work out how to turn this on so it just stays on.

        Ok heres how mine works.

Get in car which is reversed into garage.

Turn on and pull into D When it goes through R it turns the Park sensor light on when it goes into D the light is still on and stays on until ign is turned off. When it turns on again same thing happens so it is always on.

When in garage the rear sensors activate and beep as its close to the rear door.

When I pull it into D the front sensors beep if the front door is still down

The switch stays on from then on

I contacted a VW dealer & they claim that different versions of the B7 would have different updates to software etc. Not sure I entirely believe that.

Apparently the way that the OPS is working for Hillbilly is the standard for Tourag & Passat CC.

Hillbilly, when did you take possesion of your car? I picked mine up in Feb 2012. Mine has exactly the same options fitted as yours except the RVC is aftermarket. Did you initially need to set this? If you manually turn yours off will it come back on when you turn the car on next time?

It is a March 2011 build and bought mid June Just before the update model came out Didnt have to set anything, just paid an exorbitant amount of money and drove it away.

Ok went out to the garage and tried a few things and this is what happened.

Put key in pulled gear lever back into D quickly Park button stayed OFF Flicked it back into P quickly Still stayed off.

Pulled lever back and paused in R light came on and camera picture showed up in display Pulled it back to D and light stayed on and OPS showed in display
Pushed it forward to R and camera display came on pushed it into P and light in button still stayed on

So try pausing as you pull it through reverse and see what happens Tried it with button both off and On in P and it did the same either way.

            Hope all that makes sense

Thanks Hillbilly. I'll try as you suggest & report back but suspect mine will just turn off once I exceed 15 kph. If so I think only think that yours has been coded differently.

It will turn off when you reach 15kph Its designed to do that Says so in the manual

Is what you want to know will it work after going faster and then slowing down to under 15kph

What I did was obviously whilst not moving in a garage with the door shut. I did however drive across to my neighbours the other day and pull up to to her garage door and it was still working. ( Thankfully) LOL Still wouldn't have gone over 15kph though

Also when I come home if I pull in front first it seems to work but as I normally reverse in it Always works.

So has any one deciphered the davincis code yet?
I drove a Lincoln MkS in the USA and it has front sensors however there is no need to press anything when approaching a stationary object even when car is at a stop light and some person crosses close the front of the car I mean only an inches away it starts to beep. Same as even parking it will just beep as you get very close

I was hoping that it would stay in "auto" mode so when I slow down to under 15 kph & I was within a certain distance from an object the OPS will activate automatically without me having to manually press the button.

I tried last night & as suspected once I reach 15 kph the swith turns off. Back to the drawing board!

Everything is different though so isn't really relevant Volvos detect pedestrians and will stop WV have a similar system but will still run them over.

Ok took mine to town on Thursday and ensured light was on when leaving home

However when I got back home after trip I drove towards garage door and it was NOT enabled.

It was on when I left town as I had to back and fill to get out of the park I was in.

So the answer is NO it doesn't stay on after you exceed 15kph unless you press it again.

Makes more sense now as that is how mine works too. Would have been nice though.
