Mine is around 12l/100klms with 35% highway, 25% short trips & 40% peak hour. Did a Melb to Echuca & best I could get was 8.8l/100klms with A/C, luggage & family.

So the B7 has significantly taller 6th than the R36. That must be how it's achieving at least part of the fuel economy improvements over the R36, given that the engine outputs, gearbox, and 0-100 times are the same.

I'm getting about the same with probably a similar mix of driving in my R36. I record the 'average consumption 2' readout each time I fill my tank. Best so far is 9.6l/100km, worst 13.29l/100km.

Agreed. The best I've done is in the high 8's.

power output/torque and acceleration are line ball. ECU map is probably different, but not for "less" performance.

Suspension is not lower once you have sport pack (both 25mm down) and not stiffer if you run DCC in sport (well, didn't feel it to me)
The seats on my sport pack are definitely a step closer to the seats in the R36, The bolsters on the sports seats are much closer to the R36, though they would be better if they were alcantara like the R36.
