  • Alltrack Sports Pack?

Any feedback on whether or not you like the paddle shift?
I felt as though I'd use them as it's sporty enough through winding roads.

Are the regular seats more comfortable for 3 hour drives?

I test drove an Alltrack yesterday and liked it a lot.

eta: Any thoughts on the BiXenon lights vs. standard?
I live in a regional area, but if I keep adding options, I'll make an Alltrack unaffordable.

    Thanks.

I haven't driven a sports pack alltrack, but the sports seats (I've sat in them in alltrack, and my sister has them in her passat) are the first seats in years I've felt comfortable in. We'll be buying one when my wife finally gets her act together on leasing....

I would say Bi Xenon are an absolute must but unfortunately that you need to get driver assistance package for them. Luckily I wanted all the assistance stuff.

Bi-xenons are sensational. The other parts of the driver assistance pack are useful except for the lane drift help.

Regarding the sports pack, it just isn't a sporty drive. It's extra height makes it wallows a bit in corners. It has a wonderful driveline for long haul cruising however and is actually quite capable off road. You still have sequential shift on the tunnel for the couple of times you feel the urge. Choosing the sports pack for the seats or the 18s is fair though.

Standard seats are fine though. Quite comfortable Syd to the snowies, etc.

If I'd my chance again I would have opted for the sunroof so I didn't have as much paint to clean the bird poo from.

Alltrack is a really great car. It's very difficult to find fault with it.

I love the sports pack because of the seats and wheels. The paddles are just a bonus that I occasionally use when it's just me in the car.
I drive down from sydney to the south coast every 6 months and find the seats extremely comfortable and supportive plus the 18s on the alltrack look heaps better than the 17s.

I have the driver visibility package: Bi-Xenon. The adaptive lighting is great through winding roads and tight cornered streets, the HIDs are noticeably brighter compared to halogens and are really good when travelling on the F3 (now M1). The LED rear lights are good too, lights up the street at night.

I got the highline memory seats, they aren't the sports ones but are more comfy than the standard seats and sports seats.

I've installed a Golf R MFSW with paddles, imo paddles should be on all DSG cars.. Makes driving a lot more fun...

The golf r and Rocco MFSW has piano black theme which don't quite blend in with the rest of the car IMO, but u can swap them over easily with GTI ones minus the badge.

OP, yes, sports seats and bi xenon lights are a must for B7, and preferably a set of euro plates to up class ur B7 and comfortness
