  • R36 Servicing in Perth

Can anyone recommend a garage for getting my R36 serviced in the Perth area? Preferably north of the river but will drive south if its worth it

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks Steve

I took my R36 to Elite Euro in Wangara last service but because i am due for my 120k big service i will be taking it back to VW Osbourne Park. I have also been told that Quattro Motors in Vic Park is the other place to go.

Thanks for that. I'm due a big service so maybe I'll be best taking it to Osborne Park VW?

If you want good euro servicing without rip off pricing, see Ramp Auto.

Why would you go back to Osborne Park if you've previously been to Elite Euro - warranty issues???

Steve if you were SOR I'd say Quattro as well, but NOR go to Elite. Or one of the other Steves on here - WA Euro mobile. http://www.facebook.com/WAEuro

Im going back to VW Osbourne Park as its full service history was done there previously. I want to ensure that they check everything on my major service just in case there is any issues. After that I will be going back to Euro Elite as Joe is good or Quattro Motors as they are close to my work.
Does anyone know if the whole dsg saga that was mainly on golfs applies to the R36? I think the mechatronics unit was replaced on mine at the 60k service but I wanted to be sure.
Just a FYI I rang VW Osbourne Park for my 115k service and was quoted $1500. Its going to be less as a) I have a K&N panel filter b) I have my own oil c) I bought spark plugs from the US. Hopefully since its just the DSG/Haldex service and the time it should be a fair bit less.

p.s. Good to see another R36 in Perth, is it a wagon/sedan? Blue/Black/White?

              Hi Steve,

I'd be more than happy to look after your R36 for you.

I am a mobile VW specialist as Geoff said. I do full logbook servicing so won't invalidate manufacturers warranty etc.

As i am mobile, i can come to your home or work and service on site.

I also work weekends if required for added convenience.

Give me a call to discuss your needs if you like on 0449 000 660

              Thanks Steve @ http://www.facebook.com/WAEuro

As mentioned I recommend an independent over a VW dealer, better service and I trust them more to do the job better. Have used Elite Euro for my Jetta, Golf R and R36 and they have done very good work. Also have heard good things on the other independents mentioned above
