R36 Wagon FR suspension knock

Wondering if anyone can help before i go and get the car checked out. My R36 has just started to get a knocking noise on the FR suspension. It only happens going over driveways/small bumps/pot holes ect. Normal driving conditions its fine.
CV or ball joint? Car is still under VW extended warranty, will they cover this?

My passat gets this aswell like a loud crack sometimes? Took into vw they took for drive wouldn't do it till I drove it and showed them they looked at it and said something bout bushes having dust on them, it is still doing it now so would be interested in what you find out. Do u feel it in the floor aswell of the car?
