Looking at a Passat B7, or maybe B6 CC (TDI)?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for a new car, primarily motivated by my current car about to tick over to 200,000KMs, and the fuel economy being abysmal (450KMs to a tank, )

I think I've narrowed down my "luxury, yet affordable, large sedans, with good fuel economy and good looks" down to basically two cars (technically 4).

• E60 BMW 520d/530d with M-Sport Kit
• Volkswagen Passat B7 125TDI Highline
• Volkswagen Passat B6 3CC 125TDI

I'm leaning to the Passat (hence why I'm posting), it just seems a bit more unique, the 5 series is a bit too cliche for my taste (which is why I demand the M-Sport kit, it's positively boring otherwise).

I'm currently looking at this B7 and this B6 CC. Not sure which I prefer. I prefer the CC's exterior, but I like the B7's interior (I love the clock, can that be modded to fit a B6?)... Also MUST have a sunroof.

I'm very torn and am just hoping some of you guys can give me a hand. Looking to not go above $35k, but hey, the lower the better (within reason). I'm happy to have 60k KMs, obviously I'd have to check everything, but age/KMs isn't too much of an issue for me.

So... Yeah. Appreciate the help anyone is able to give!
