If the battery was flat, wouldn't you simply use the key if you wished to gain entry to the vehicle?

I've been away for extended periods, last year 5 weeks, with no issues. Battery is 2007 build.

Make sure you lock the car as there is less power drain when locked

My only concern is: how open the door if battery flat...
