R36 Intake. EVO-MS or GRUPPE M?

Hi Everyone. I'm looking for a loud intake. The EVO-MS is uncovered so I would presume it would be louder (possibly less efficient).

Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

Uncovered intake's are illegal in Queensland and you can be defected for it.
Best bet would be the Gruppe M or other enclosed system but it will only make so much of a difference on an NA engine.

Hi Mate,

I have a MY10.5 R36 and fitted EVOMS which is legal in victoria as the bonnet acts as a lid to make the airbox fully enclosed. Very loud intake, sounds great.

I changed my rear tail pipes to Audi A8 Remus mufflers for little note, but the EVOMS over powers the mundane sounds of remus.


The Gruppe-M may look nicer in carbon scoop, but just not worth the money & isnt a seal unit.
