Satnav System in New Passat

Hello

I will be taking delivery of a new Passat next week.

I am curious what model satnav it will have. It seems the 510 is what the internet thinks, but the brochure indicates the 850. Anyone able to confirm this? Also does anyone know if it is digital radio capable?

well if the 850 is the new unit in the my13.5 then it probably will be with all the recently built cars.. if you are taking delivery next week then it will be likely that you have a my13 with the 510.

The DAB+ in Australia is different to the European so the answer is probably no.

Look in the Audio forums There was a discussion in there about it in the RNS510 section and it said the hardware was different and they dont have a DAB board built in

The Passat brochure I just downloaded says 510.

Ok that is weird. I just looked in the hard copy brochure the dealer gave me and it mentions 850 in the spec section.

What is the print date on the back of the brochure?

It was printed April 2013

Just looked, on page 16 is says 510. But on page 30 it was 850. 850 must be a misprint.

They'd have to redo the dash to make the 810 fit. Can't see that happening at this point of the model cycle. We have a 13.5 alltrack with a 510 that was a Jan build.
