replacement 18" chicago rims

Hi guys, I have a badly gashed rim and Ive been quoted $180 to have it repaired. Any idea what these cost to replace? I haven't phoned VW yet.

my guess is around the $800 mark

Get the part number and buy it from ecs at least. It will come out cheaper than buying a new one from the stealer even with shipping and the dollar is still above parity. I did this with an 18" detroit off a gti.
