I have a Passat V6 Sportspack Highline wagon with standard headlights.
I usually drive with my headlights on, I do know that the daytime running lights turn off when the headlights are on.
When arriving at work today, a fellow worker noticed that when I turned into the driveway, the right front foglight was on but the left one was off. I was turning right into the driveway.
My fellow worker and I decided to check wkat was going on, so I started the car and checked the head light operation. Turned headlights on and confirmed that the foglights were on (??), even though they were turned off at the switch(!!??). I drove out of the driveway and once I started to drive, the foglights went off!
Turned right into my driveway again and the same thing happened with the foglights, the right one was on and the left one was off.
I am wondering if the foglights come on when the headlights are on at low speed when starting and when at low speeds they also turn on when using the indicator to light the road. Has anyone checked their light operation to see if this occurs?
