Golf MK6 GTI/R or Scirocco Wheel on B7

Hi All,

Has anyone considered or done the retrofit of this steering wheel onto Passat B7?

I have purchased a steering wheel with airbag and paddles ready to fit onto the Passat. It appears that the steering wheel that I got is compatible with Passat CC according to ETKA and the wiring loom for airbag/buttons is the one that is used on cars delivered in 2012 for Passat.

I am sure it will be ok but just wondering if anyone else has researched/done it.

Yes, no problems. All plug and play. Just need to activate the flappy paddles if you've got dsg. It's worth doing, much nicer wheel drive with.

Another here albeit on a B6 R36. Golf R steering wheel and Scirocco R DSG knob, all working perfectly.

Nice work. So Looking forward to mine. Have so many additions lined up for when it arrives.

I ended up with streering wheel with part number 1K8 419 091 and wiring harness 5K0 971 874 C
