  • Sports Pack Seats for the B7 2011 Passat 3.6l V6

I was wondering what the seats are like with the sports pack. Anybody got some links to photos?

I'm looking at the B7 2011 Passat 3.6l V6 wagon. I'm considering the sports pack option - but only for the paddle shifts. I'm concerned about ordering the sports pack without having seen and tested the actual seats.

Are the seats equivalent to any existing seats on other VWs? Another thread mentioned they are similar to the Passat CC seats. Can anybody confirm this?

    Thanks

    Ben.

    here is an old link...

I think they are like the CC seats with the 5 seat (3 seat rear bench) option that you could get in Europe... at least I compare what I have now to the CC i sat in to try and visualise it.

In any case the rears change (so the rolls match the front) and thus you cannot have the baby seats...

The wheel with the paddles on the sports pack belongs on a bus, so if that is all you want, i would look at sourcing (a scirroco) wheel seperately...

I moan about that in here

      Hi Ben,

Here is a link to some photos of my car including the seats. http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...sat-65900.html
Really like the seats & find them to be extremely comfortable on long journeys as well as daily driving. Having said that, large bodies might find the wrap around shape a little tight. They are very similar to those in the CC so if they work for you, you won't get any surprises.

The Passat Sport pack seats are identical to the CC seats except for colour of the stitching, CC uses a light grey stitch. This is for front seats, the rears between the two are a bit different.

There is any number of options to look at the Sport seats whether via carsales websites (carsales.com.au, carpoint.com.au, carsguide.com.au) or dealers with CC's & or Passat's with Sport pack in stock.

Kevin is correct in that if one does have a bigger deriere & love handles they could find the seats a bit tight. Personally, I fit in them just fine & reckon they are great. Get the Sport pack if you are prepared to pay the $1300 (on V6) as you will regret it if you don't.

          Hi,

Just be sure that the scirocco wheel can support lane assist, I am not sure if any do but if I ever find one then the bus steering wheel will be going on my car as well.
