ACC Fault 09 Passat

So picked up the new car... driving in traffic tried the ACC (adapative cruise) and got ACC Fault.

User error or ACC error? is there any special way to turn cruise on?

It does tell you in the manual but nothing special just follow the arrows on the cruise control.
The distance in the latest is set from the MFD display menu

Nah, it has a ! Beside the cruise thing and comes up w ACC Fault and a fault on front park assist

That sounds like the dealer will need to sort that one. As Hillbilly said there is nothing special you need do, I found it quite intuitive actually.

its going to the VW centre here for diagnosis and then if something needs replacing, will try one of the many warranties the car has (VW, dealer and lease)..

Lovin' the car though!
