Vagreader having a connection error

Vagreader is having a connection error when it tries to scan the abs, even when it is able to scan the engine etc, does anyone have any suggestions? the original problem is something that is causing the abs light to come on and we were trying to locate the problem, any help is appreciated it's a B5 2.8 v6 by the way

Whats vag reader?? if you are trying to scan abs with ANY scanner and it doesnt read then you have no power at the ABS or the ABS module is dead, nothing wrong with your scanner, its doing its job.
