Sharkie
Can you please help with the instructions?
Thanks
cru22z, do you have the cable connect + the software downloaded on your laptop? If so, it's just a matter of scrolliing through until you find what you want. Search the forums, there's heaps of info around. You could pm Sharkie, but I know he's busy at the moment so might take a little while to get him.

Sorry don't have the cable at all.
Was hoping it would be just via MFD.
I might invest in a good vagcom system then and contact
Sharkie. Thanks Clip
+1 looks great dopey, I put mine in the other day (just waiting for an extra one for the centre). Looks much better.
I don't know why they didn't put footwell lights is either? The Tig has them. Must stick my head under and see if there is a spot for them. Maybe they come with the vision pack or something?
Hi Clip
The Led light that I have are quiet long so I can't seem to put back the housing.
Where did you buy your led bulbs and how long are they?
Bought the footwell light kit + led bulbs for front & rear footwells
LED DRL bulbs
LED mud lights for under the mirrors
LED rear numberplate light kit
Just a few other little bits to tidy up again now, don't think I'll put the HID kit back in though as the headlights seemed to fog up a lot with it which I suspect was due to the fact the HID's run cooler.
Think I'll change the reflectors in the door to LED lights at some point.
I am pretty sure that it will be the same as golf v, push the entire mirror housing forwards to the front of the vehicle and you will then see the screw for releasing the bulb holder.
*edit*, seems that it could be more difficult, mk6 golf puddle lights required the removal of the glass.. and you don't want to break that tinking glass because it is somehting like $300+ to replace the tinting glass alone!!!
As for the puddle lights, I really want to do this as the standards look crap. I had a try but gave up, just didn't have the balls to keep going! Imagine smashing the self tinting driver's one!!!
If anyone knows the trick, really like to find out please.
yeh, I had another look today and tried with a flat bit of metal getting behind the mirror, but no good - just doesn't seem to want to pop off like they do in the youtube demos. There must be some trick to it, can't be that hard, can it?

Now I'll just wait by the mailbox
Hi dopey,
Would you mind sharing some photos after putting on these LED's? I'm thinking of changing them too. Wonder if my turn signal bulbs are the same as the one's sold at bold sport (leds)?
Sure, I'll post up some shots after I fit them. Could be a couple of weeks for delivery yet, though. Thinking about doing my turn signals and reverse lights soon as well.
Definitely looking forward to these footwell lights - they were very convenient on my old Golf
