The ride isnt harsher because of the KW springs but it does get a little harsher when upgrading to 19's because of the smaller sidewall. KW spings cost me $300 shipped from Germany + install. I went with KW's as they offer the least amount drop giving it factory drop. H&R and other brands offer 30mm drop as a minimum

Great - thanks. I have to say it's good value for money when you consider how much it changes the look of the car.

I ended up getting the R brake caliper covers but instead of slapping them on and being mismatched in colour and .:R font i got them painted in Jazz Blue to match the brakes and got the old .:R font put on so it matches the car (i know i might be OCD) but it now completes the calipers and gives the brakes a subtle detail

          Here are some pics:

Where did you get the caliper covers from?

Dam those calipers look awesome, how did you go about this... DIY ir get them taken off, disasembled and sent for painting. Is the R as stencial or decal? Very interested in doing this to my calipers. What was the price if you don't mind me asking?

Got the caliper covers painted at a paint shop then fitted the R decals on.

                Cost around $100.

The snap into place as they replace the ****ty metal clip so no need to pull apart caliper.

I may have some decals left so send me a PM if your interested.

As in a covers to cover the existing calipers sort of like the fake brembo ones you see on ebay every now and then, if so where did you source them from? Defently interested in the decals will PM you.

Was it essential to do the drop with the 19" wheels?
I know Mk5 GTI look a bit like a roller skate on 19" with no drop, yet look fine on 17/18", but am finding that hard to visualise with my R36.

Did you order the springs direct? Perfect daily driver height in the earlier pics IMO.
It looks like they've dropped over time, unless that is just the light from the photos.
                    Is that just an illusion?

                      No not like them terrible.

Tinto yes you have to lower the r36 as it looks terrible on 19's

It's the light from the pics as height hasn't changed since the drop
