2011 Passat 118 TSI 0-100 in 7.9sec?

I tested my mates brand new Passat 118TSI sedan with Dynolicious App on iPhone and it was constantly returning around 8sec and best of 7.9sec this is faster than VWs official figure of 8.4 sec.

I heard this app is quite accurate anyone have similar experiences?

My GTI was also about half a second faster then official figure at 6.5sec.

The 125TDI and 118TSI are very close in 0-100
