Apparently are all owned by one owner in northgate, oldest one is about 12 months old and has about 90,000 on the clock.
Don't know what the deal is, other than they must be a good deal.

Yep seen quite a few. Usually 3-4 outside the taxi ranks in the Brisbane CBD (near Eagle St, Creek St)

I prefer these Passats even to the silver service statesman - the cab driver who took me to the airport in one a few months back reckons they are the best cabs in the fleet.
