    Do you mean when reversing?

I believe that it should be able to do so - maybe the feature is not activated - try getting ur dealer to activate it via VAG-COM...

Do you have electric seat adjustment and memory? I think you need that

Also the rear mirror selector switch has to be in the 'L' position

                Hi Passatfish and everyone,

No I don't have electric seat and memory. I got leather seat and factory nav but no option to change it. It has mirror adjustment option but for sync and it isn't dip function.

I will ask my dealer if that possible.

By the way I got another problem. I need everyone opinion on this if I can claim it under warranty.

My front left tyre the rubber is out a bit(like buble on the side of the rubber). I didn't bump anything on it but I saw this morning. It is coming out on the side. It is like going to explode but
no air leak still in working condition.

Do you think I can claim it or I need to replace it under my cost?

                Thanks

Select Mirror down in your MFD screen, make sure selection is ON..... make sure the mirror is set to the Left mirror, when reverse is selected the left mirror should drop, once D or S is selected and as soon as you get over 15km/h the mirror should revert back to normal.

The rear wiper only works automatically if you are in reverse if the front wipers are on, in either sensor mode or in either of the fully on modes (which I assume you know) and I think the rear will only work if the front rain sensor wipe has actually been triggered by rain. So, if the front rain sensor is on, from when you previously parked the car and turned the car off, the rear will only turn on if the front wipers have sensed rain and actually do a sweep and not if the sensor is on and have not done a sweep. At least this seems to be the way mine works.
