Engine cutting out

So my R36 was towed to the dealer today, the engine starts and then cuts out after about 2 seconds, done a VAGCOM myself and it threw a bunch of error codes regarding the linkage between systems and the ECM.

The dealer had it today and was unable to diagnose the problem so I got a loan TDI Golf

Wondering if anyone here has experienced the same or would have any idea of the issue?

I am no specialist, but sounds like the immobiliser is kicking in, that is what it does if the immobiliser is active, it starts, then immediately stops.

It ended up being a leak in the inlet manifold.
