  • HELP! Passat 125TDI owner around the Rowville area

I'm having difficulty identifying couple of faults on my car at the moment
due to lack of same model cars to compare.

Anyone got 2007~2009 Passat 125TDI Pump Duse BMR engine and want to test out the following?

    1. DSG jerkiness
    2. high pitch noise at pre ignition
    3. resonance at 1200rpm to 1400rpm
    4. mirror dip function

We can even gather couple of people to sample from bigger pool

    No?

          No?
          1. There is a software re-flash of the DSG control unit, although, it depends where the jerkiness occurs. If it's a harsh downshift from 2nd to 1st as you're pulling up to a stop, it'll usually require a fresh Mechatronics unit.
          2. Pre-ignition, as in cranking over? It's usually fixed by removing the starter motor, and lubing the ring gear and pinion with moly grease.
          3. Not sure. Is it a moo-ing noise? Some cars had revised intake pipes.
          4. Only on cars with leather heated seats, apparently.

            1. done the software re-flash 3times no change and getting worse day by day
            2. even before the cranking it's a super high pitch sound like broken capacitor
            3. 50hz like this YouTube - 50HZ but much louder
            4. I gave up on this...
