DSG Gearbox Question

I'm confused ... the brochure for the CC states 6 speed in the features list but then 7 speed on the inside back page where it raves about the DSG transmission. I guy at work said the MY11's would have a 7 speed DSG but the latest quoted (received today for a new build car) states 6 speed.

So ... is it 6 speed or 7 speed ?

Think the 7 speed is for lower powered models (up to 250Nm torque) Anything above that has the original 6 speed with wet clutch.
My Jetta has the 7 speed as its is the lower power 1.6 litre diesel. Notice the 2.0 litre Jetta of the same year has the 6 speed.

....I think you need to check this out further, I have a 2010 CCtdi (Oct.2009 build) with of course the 6 speed DSG, but I thought I've read that they are soon coming with the 7 speed. My 2 cents worth.
