Well, after a few questions to you all, I thought it was time to put up some photo's of my new Passat. Here's some details:

2006 MY07 Passat (September build, December delivered) 3.2FSI 4Motion DSG.
Options included:
Xenons
18" wheels / Sports suspension
Sunroof
Woodgrain dash
Memory seats
Satnav

Bought the car with 62k, for a very decent price, and am so far very happy with it!

To answer one of your previous questions, that is an MFD2 Sat Nav. However not a "C" version, that has silver highlights on the buttons.

Did you pay over or under $30,000?

Currently dusty! and will not be washing with

Its dusty already so needs a wash.. No car lovers brush for it!
Only the laser wash option and hand washing with my special sponge! And wax after (the spray sort).

Well done. I bought one almost exactly the same for $34K from a dealer 6 months ago, but with only 28,000K on it.

I had just replaced my original satnav with an rns510 and mdi. I have an iPod adapter For the mfd2 in your car if you'd like to make an offer. It's a bit crap though - it only lets you play playlists.

Whats the go with MDI? my local dealer suggested this to me, but she didn't elaborate what the crap it was!

The MDI is for the new generation radios and doesn't work on the MFD2. The iPod adapter I have plugs in to the CD changer socket (and you lose the CD changer) and you can then access playlists as if they are CDs 1-6. It will also allow you to start playing what you want and then just plug in the iPod. I was told by the dealer that it's very hard to get the aux-in working hence the cd changer solution.
