  • Coolant temp sensor

Got my car back 3 weeks ago after they've repaired cracked oil cooler and now temp. gauge is playing up, usually it sits at 90 but in the last 3 days it drops downs to 60 then up to 80 then 50 then 90 and so on.
Does anyone knows where is the temp. sender located on a 2.0l 125 kw TDI,I've looked around twice but just can not find it, i want to check for loose connection.
    thanks

Check your coolant level. It's probably had a burp since the oil cooler was replaced. Assuming it's the one of the two heat exchangers the car is fitted with.
