  • What music goes well with your R36?

Just enjoying the beautiful Canberra spring weather - sunroof back and RNS-510 belting out some cruising tunes. There have been very few new threads so thought I'd start a new thread on what you have playing in your Passat (yes I know the R36 sounds great even without tunes!!) I'm currently enjoying Coldplay's 'A rush of blood to the head' and 'Parachutes' in between The Beautiful South's 'Welcome to...' and 'Choke'.

What are you all enjoying out there?

anything by DJ Pi (although he no longer releases mixes anymore )

Otherwise Dreamensions does some good stuff - and always a good standby - Robert Miles.

However, just having got back from Greece - I always come back with a stack of mp3's from the cousins there so have a 2GB SD card full of whatever is on the top 40 charts over there (and the last couple of years) + some really old school stuff.

Children ain't a nice slow cruisy song! LOL! I believe most R36 owners here are 30yrs and older.

            Sooo....

Try Jason Mraz - I'm yours.

Perhaps I am showing my age - but to me there is nothing better than cruising to the music of Deodato, with the roof open.

                  So R36 owners are questionable?

I'd nominate either anything from Pendulum or Pavarotti belting out Nessun Dorma.

                            R36 Music:
Country driving - anything classic dire straits
City driving - mo' money, mo' problems by Notorius B.I.G.
My own personal driving fav's: Rosalita (come out tonight) - The Boss, Gimme Shelter - Stones, Classical Gas - Mason Williams (I know, I know...but the user name says it all, and I think it's just a phase).
